Fidelity Investments Canada has announced that the Fidelity All-in-One Balanced ETF (FBAL) has crossed the CA$2 billion mark in assets under management (AUM). Launched in January 2021, FBAL has quickly become a popular choice for investors seeking a globally diversified, professionally managed portfolio in a single fund. This milestone highlights the growing demand for comprehensive, cost-effective investment solutions among Canadian investors.

“Fidelity is proud to see that the Fidelity All-in-One balanced ETF has become a popular choice for investors,” said Kelly Creelman, Senior Vice President, Products and Marketing, Fidelity. “With the growing demand for ETFs, we’re pleased to continue working with Cboe Canada to provide Canadians with more choice in their investment futures and more convenient access to these products.”

How This ETF Works

FBAL is a one-ticket solution offering a balanced allocation of approximately 59% equity factors, 39% systematic and actively managed fixed income ETFs, and 2% cryptocurrencies. Its equity allocation spans multiple regions, market caps, and investment styles, while the fixed income portion combines systematic and active strategies for added diversification.

The fund is built with strategic asset allocation at its core, featuring consistent portfolio rebalancing to maintain its target mix. This approach simplifies the investment process for individuals, providing diversified exposure without the need for manual adjustments.

Why Investors Should Consider FBAL

FBAL offers simplicity and diversification in a low-cost structure. Its blend of equities, fixed income, and cryptocurrencies ensures exposure to a wide range of market drivers, making it resilient in various economic scenarios.

Designed with built-in strategic allocation and rebalancing, it caters to both new and experienced investors looking for a hands-off yet robust investment approach.

The ETF also benefits from Fidelity’s extensive expertise in managing multi-asset portfolios, making it an appealing alternative to traditional mutual funds and other balanced investment solutions. For investors seeking an efficient way to achieve long-term financial goals, FBAL provides a straightforward, professionally managed option.
