They are also responsible for selecting and working with various partners involved in launching and maintaining an ETF in-market such as their listing exchange, custodian, transfer agent, auditor, and designated brokers or market makers.
ETF Issuers, like any business, can choose how they wish to build and specialize in specific types or styles of ETFs.
ETFs charge a management fee from investors for the services they provide. These fees pay the issuer for their experience, capabilities, service providers, and may contribute to profits of the ETF Issuer as well.
