According to data by Trackinsight, Canadian-listed ETFs recorded inflows across most major asset classes, led by CA$2.11 billion into fixed income and CA$1.66 billion into equities.

Multi-asset ETFs attracted CA$350.9 million, while commodity products added CA$50.8 million and cryptocurrency ETFs gathered CA$11.1 million. Currency products recorded CA$5.2 million of outflows.

Energy and Utilities Lead Sector Inflows

Utilities ETFs led sector inflows with CA$58.2 million, closely followed by Energy at CA$58 million.

Financials recorded the largest outflow at CA$215.0 million, while Materials lost CA$49.5 million and Real Estate ETFs shed CA$46.1 million.

Financials led sector performance with a 1.39% gain, followed by Energy at 1.38% and Consumer Staples at 1.14%. Industrials posted the largest decline at 2.95%, while Consumer Discretionary fell 2.28% and Materials declined 1.43%.

U.S. and Developed Markets Lead Geographic Flows

U.S.-focused equity ETFs attracted CA$773.2 million, the largest geographic inflow, followed by Developed Markets with CA$389.3 million.

Canadian equity ETFs gathered CA$80.6 million and Emerging Markets added CA$66.6 million.

North America was the main geographic category to record outflows, at CA$6.7 million.

Australia led geographic performance with a 2.03% gain, followed by Japan at 1.54% and Developed Pacific at 0.60%. Europe declined 1.10%, while Greater China fell 0.99%.

Disruptive Technology Leads Thematic Flows

Disruptive Technology ETFs attracted CA$50.3 million, while Cryptocurrency products gathered CA$11.1 million.

North America Energy Infrastructure added CA$7.3 million, Electrification CA$6.7 million and Nuclear Energy CA$6.6 million.

Global Infrastructure recorded the largest thematic outflow at CA$21.1 million, followed by Climate Action at CA$12.4 million and Net Zero 2050 at CA$9.8 million.

Blockchain led thematic performance with a 7.17% gain, while Agribusiness advanced 4.87% and Cryptocurrency rose 2.72%.

Global Defense recorded the largest decline at 5.34%, followed by Battery Value-Chain at 3.87% and Cybersecurity at 3.37%.

Investment Grade Leads Fixed Income Flows

Aggregate Investment Grade ETFs led fixed income flows with CA$1.07 billion, followed by Corporate Investment Grade with CA$590.6 million and Government Investment Grade with CA$264.6 million. Aggregate bond products added CA$90.7 million, while Corporate High Yield ETFs attracted CA$46.9 million.

Multi-Commodity and Gold Products Lead Commodity Flows

Multi-Commodity products attracted CA$23.3 million, while Gold products gathered CA$22.2 million and Silver added CA$4.6 million. Natural Gas products recorded CA$750,400 of inflows.

Bitcoin Leads Cryptocurrency ETF Flows

Bitcoin ETFs attracted CA$3.1 million, followed by Multi-Cryptocurrency products at CA$2.7 million and XRP at CA$2.7 million. Ether gathered CA$1.4 million and Solana added CA$1.2 million.
