According to data by Trackinsight, Canadian-listed ETFs attracted strong flows during the week ending October 2. Equity ETFs gathered C$2.44 billion, while Fixed Income ETFs attracted C$1.13 billion. Multi-Asset ETFs added C$286.2 million, while Cryptocurrency products recorded C$31.8 million in net outflows.
Communication Services and Energy Lead Sector Inflows
Communication Services led sector ETF inflows with C$63.5 million, narrowly ahead of Energy at C$61.1 million. Information Technology added C$17.8 million. Financials recorded the largest sector outflow at C$741.9 million, while Utilities saw C$162.6 million in outflows.
U.S. Equity ETFs Attract C$1.20 Billion
U.S.-focused equity ETFs led geographic inflows with C$1.20 billion, followed by Canada-focused products at C$710.4 million and Developed Markets at C$303.8 million. Emerging Markets recorded the largest geographic outflow at C$94.1 million, while Japan saw C$14.3 million in outflows.

Disruptive Technology Tops Thematic Flows
Disruptive Technology topped thematic flows with C$64.7 million, followed by North America Energy Infrastructure at C$38.3 million and Global Infrastructure at C$10.2 million. Artificial Intelligence & Big Data recorded the largest thematic outflow at C$52.0 million, while Cryptocurrency themes lost C$31.8 million and Nuclear Energy saw C$8.1 million in outflows.
Gold Leads Commodity Inflows
Gold led commodity inflows with C$27.0 million, while Multi Commodities recorded C$15.0 million in outflows.
Bitcoin Leads Crypto Inflows as Solana Sees Outflows
Cryptocurrency flows were led by Bitcoin with C$8.7 million, followed by XRP at C$1.1 million. Solana recorded the largest crypto outflow at C$32.0 million, while Ether saw C$10.3 million in outflows.

Aggregate Investment Grade Bonds Lead Fixed Income Flows
Aggregate Investment Grade bond ETFs led fixed income flows with C$750.8 million, followed by Government Investment Grade at C$255.3 million. Corporate High Yield gathered C$28.6 million, while Corporate Aggregate products attracted C$25.0 million. Municipal Investment Grade ETFs recorded C$49.6 million in outflows.
